What You'll Do:

Traeger is seeking an experienced and influential Sales Director, Germany & Austria to lead sales strategy and implementation. The Sales Director will report directly to the General Manger of Europe and work closely with the HQ leadership team for strategic planning and implementation.

How You'll Help Us Win:

Operations

  • Establish Traeger as the leading outdoor cooking solution in Germany and Austria
  • Manage sales for Traeger in Germany and Austria.
  • Grow Traeger distribution in the region
  • Build and maintain yearly, quarterly and monthly sales forecasts
  • Build and maintain long term business plans for territory
  • Analyze chains’ and retailers’ monthly inventory levels
  • Analyze chains’ and retailers’ monthly sell thru
  • Collaborate with territory managers to develop localized branding & marketing activities by region
  • Coordinate product launch activities with EU HQ and local chains and retailers
  • Work with the Traeger’s accounting team
  • Attend relevant key retailer meetings within territory
  • Market analysis from a customer and retail margin standpoint

Staff Management

  • Coach & develop a team of +6 in Germany/Austria
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures, conferring with HQ, organization officials, and staff members as necessary
  • Assess and evolve team structure, career paths, and individual skill sets to identify bench strength and opportunities for new talent
  • Create an environment & culture for collaboration & team work

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Fluent in German & English
  • A minimum 10 - 15 years in Sales Management
  • Proven track record of driving growth with customers across various retail channels
  • Experience building a brand and with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
