We are looking for an Operations Manager that will support our young and motivated team at our European headquarter in Copenhagen! What You’ll Do:

As our EU Operations Manager, your primary goal is to safeguard and further improve our operations within the EU. You will be the one to ensure that our business operations runs smoothly and that all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way. The responsibilities are wide-ranging, including negotiation, sourcing, and budgeting and thus requires extensive knowledge of various company processes, both from a strategic and executive standpoint.

You must be an excellent leader, keeping your team motivated, engaged, and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards and ensuring that departments are aligned to our business objectives consistently.

How You’ll Help Us Win:

  • Maintain communication with management, staff, and suppliers to ensure smooth operation of the organization
  • Manage and control warehousing and distribution functions to ensure the right quantities of goods are delivered at the right times
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
  • Lead, motivate and support a smaller, but growing, team within a time sensitive and demanding environment
  • Work collaborative in a cross-functional team environment
  • Act as the company’s go-to person when it comes to all issues relating to operational functions
  • Keep our company up to date of latest trends and developments within operations management to ensure that the company maintains its competitive position
  • Maintain and manage Dealer/Warranty repair program
  • Directs inventory allocation across various accounts and customers
  • Monitors inbound purchase orders and inter-company inventory transfers
  • Collaborates with sales and forecasting teams to set budget and revenue targetsExecute to approved budgets and forecasts
  • Updates weekly short-term forecasts and communicates changes with internal teams
  • Manages daily backlog process and ATP (available to promise) reports
  • Prepares WEEE reporting and local filing
  • Confirms and validates service part forecasts
  • Ad-hoc local sourcing projects as needed
  • Coordinates efforts with Compliance Director on any required Retail compliance/Chargebacks- works with compliance director to make sure all product is compliant
  • Manages customer service with support of a call center
  • Ensures compliance with all customer routing guides and actively reviews and resolves any chargebacks
  • Leads a monthly S&OP meeting
  • Monitors weekly and monthly distribution of sales/TM reports
  • Mandatory to work until at least 8pm for 2 day per week for meetings with Traeger US teams

What You’ll Need To Succeed:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
  • Experience working within CRM and ERP systems
  • Demonstrated ability of long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Analytic skills to analyze data and operations metrics
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to handle pressure and work in a constantly changing atmosphere
  • Results-oriented, desire to make a strong impact on the overall business
  • Solid understanding of the different functions of Operations
  • Excellent time management- and decision-making skills
  • Travel as required
