What You'll Do:

The Retail Marketing Manager for Innovation & Scalable Solutions plays a pivotal part in creating brand awareness at point of sale and ultimately driving conversion. This person will oversee creating immersive Traeger experiences at retail through custom-built flagship locations, regional temporary pop-ups, and modular shop-in-shops. They will also work closely with the Traeger Showroom Manager to create a captivating Traeger environment that represents the brand and our products within our own showroom at Traeger HQ. Working with a tiered approach, this person will then translate these top-tier experiences into scalable modular fixture and POP solutions that will be used to create a holistic approach to visual merchandising and product marketing across all retail channels globally.


How You'll Help Us Win:

  • Spearhead Innovative Custom Experiences
    • Strategically identify opportunities within key markets to drive awareness through custom flagship retail locations and pop-ups
    • Manage relationship with partner agency, help construct vision/creative briefs, and oversee entire execution to ensure custom builds and pop-up experiences are complete on time and within budget
    • Work closely with Digital Experience team to utilize tactical approaches that seamlessly merge the digital and physical worlds into a holistic experience for shoppers
    • Create ‘Dealer Stories’ for custom builds for promotion on Traeger’s website and other marketing channels
    • Ensure all custom builds receive regular maintenance and refreshed as needed seasonally and for product launches
    • Work closely with Traeger Showroom Manager to create and maintain a world-class immersive experience at Traeger HQ
  • Manage production and execution of scalable POP & Fixtures programs
    • Understand the various channels of distribution, consumer segmentation by channel, and execute a multi-tiered approach to visual merchandising
    • Manage premium modular shop-in-shop program and drive tactical plan
    • Oversee forecasting, timelines, budget, production, and execution of fixtures and POP
    • Gather feedback and follow-up on POP and fixtures being placed
    • Work with logistics, IT, and sales team to establish optimal platform to track and report on placement and inventory levels of Fixtures and POP throughout the year
    • Work with logistics to EOL Fixtures and POP as needed
  • Understand and report on the financial impact of visual merchandising initiatives, both before and after initiatives launch
  • Create assets for executional guidelines and brand standards for retail merchandising
    • Submit creative requests for deliverables such as fixture/display program sell-sheets, annual merchandising catalog, etc
    • Create planograms for Silver, Gold, Platinum dealers across channels and regions
  • Work with RPM Director to research and report on retail landscape on a defined schedule
    • Gather insight on what our competitors are doing and look for inspiration from other brands
    • Understand consumer buying behavior, what drives them from discovery to conversion and help create the path to purchase journey in store
  • Master RPM software tools like PlanogramBuilder. Become proficient in other software tools RPM Director designates.


What You'll Need To Succeed:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in complex project management and managing vendor relationships
  • Highly organized, and self-driven to meet deadlines
  • Previous experience with retail merchandising within national accounts/big box preferred
