What You'll Do:

Work collectively with corporate chefs & kitchen staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all kitchen areas. Assist kitchen staff in the preparation of food for content shoots and events.  Must be efficient and effective in washing dishes, including large pots and pans.  

 

How You'll Help Us Win:

  • Responsible for washing dishes used by the culinary team for various projects.  
  • Own general cleaning duties throughout the prep kitchen, including wiping work surfaces and mopping floors. This will also include filling and emptying the dishwasher at regular intervals.  
  • Own the employee food experience touch points – Monday AM breakfast, daily coffee refresh, cleaning & stocking shared kitchen spaces  
  • Assists with shopping for ingredients and placing orders with food vendors. 
  • Assists with stocking kitchen par stocks and checking all office kitchens daily. 
  • General preparation of food as directed by corporate chefs – i.e. peeling and chopping vegetables, preparing proteins etc. 
  • Understand and adhere to all food hygiene and health and safety requirements in order to meet regulatory and company standards. This includes the safe use of knives and other sharp utensils. 

 

What You'll Need To Succeed:

  • Food handlers permit or ServSafe  
  • Ability to communicate verbally and work cooperatively with employees 
  • General understanding of the workings of a commercial kitchen 
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene, storage and preparation 
  • High standards of cleanliness 
  • Ability to work well within a close knit team 
  • Flexible schedule, ability to work nights and weekends 
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment
