Job Description:

Traeger is looking for an all-star Quality Engineer to ensure Traeger products meet and exceed customer and market expectations. An ideal candidate for this position will be motivated and able to get into the nitty gritty details to identify quality issues and work both independently and among a team to help solve them. This position will be responsible for working collaboratively across departments to analyze and correct quality issues throughout the life of product from design to commercialization. How you'll help us win:

  • Provide meaningful data analytics and reporting for quality failures both in field and at manufacturing facilities.
  • Closely monitor warranty and product data in the field to identify failure trends and help to drive necessary improvement plans
  • Work collaboratively among Product Development, Customer Service, and Manufacturing teams to identify root causes and work towards data-driven solutions
  • Develop and improve quality process controls and documentation
  • Create and execute test plans to validate product performance and reliability

 

Experience needed to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of quality practices and standards (Lean, Six Sigma, ISO9001)
  • Experience in consumer goods and third-party manufacturing
  • Technical writing and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment and multitask
  • Ability to provide data-driven solutions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Experience using DOMO or similar application for data analytics a plus
