In doing so, we unlock a historically untapped massive revenue opportunity by connecting businesses with highly targeted markets represented by these associations. This enables association staff to work more efficiently and generate more revenue than before.

Our customer base is growing quickly and includes the American Association of Physics Teachers, the American Animal Hospital Association, and the Indiana State Nurses Association. Tradewing is backed by 8VC and other top investors.

We are a small team with experience building products at Facebook, Uber, Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, Workday, and Zynga. We love building a SaaS product that simultaneously propels our customers' businesses forward while solving real pain points for their members.

About the Role

TradeWing is seeking a sales development representative (SDR) to find and qualify potential customers who can benefit from our community platform. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our Account Executives up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills, and have the ability to speak about our platform in a compelling way. 

Role Objectives

  • Research leads to identify good fits for our community platform
  • Set demos with qualified leads
  • Hand off set leads to an Account Executive

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Utilize Salesloft, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Make at least 75 outbound calls a day
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Adequately prepare the Account Executive for the demo via notes on set call and thorough hand off on demo 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Salesloft
  • Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving targets at a Saas company
