We are currently seeking a hardworking, highly-motivated, detail-oriented Luxury Authentication expert who has strong analytical skills and can grow with the company.  As an authentication expert, you monitor and review all inventory on Tradesy to confirm the authenticity and to help millions of members safely buy and sell new and pre-owned designer fashion on Tradesy. 

The Tradesy Authentication team is a tight-knit, highly motivated group with a do-whatever-it-takes philosophy. You'll also work closely with our Trust and community teams to keep Tradesy safe for our buyers and sellers. To be successful in this role you should have strong knowledge and passion for Luxury fashion with the ability to authenticate Luxury Goods. 

This role reports directly to the Director, Operations - Trust & Community.

You Will:

  • Review a high volume of listings/items virtually and in-person for authenticity concerns, inaccurate descriptions, or Terms of Service violations 
  • Communicate with members via phone calls and emails related to authenticity concerns
  • Review user account history and research suspicious patterns related to authenticity
  • Stay well-versed on current brand trends
  • Review items flagged by our users for authenticity concerns or inaccurate descriptions
  • Weekends are a requirement for this position

You Have:

  • 2 years of prior luxury authentication experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A passion for fashion and authentication 
  • An eye for identifying outliers among data sets
  • Confidence, tact, patience, politeness, and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to research cases and address user concerns
  • Flexibility and adaptability to constantly evolving work-flows and responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), strong follow-up and are customer-focused
  • You are a fashion expert and have a strong sense of the domain
  • Prior customer service experience or call center experience 
  • Prior experience with Zendesk a plus
