Your Mission  

We take phenomenal pride in our software’s quality and test automation infrastructure, and we’re looking for a talented automation tester to help us reach the next level. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, helping to ensure that the features released to our customers are of the highest quality. You will be involved in planning, developing, maintaining and executing both manual and automated test cases, with a focus on the latter one. You will also verify that deliverable function according to requirements as well as conform to established guidelines. 

Your Day-to-Day  

  • Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test cases
  • Provide technical product and process mentorship to other QA team members regarding automated testing 
  • Support the team in building reusable test assets for automated test scripts 
  • Identify and report all defects and issues, help triage tickets and driving issues to resolutions
  • Ensure all defects and issues are documented, tracked and reported efficiently 
  • Participate in QA sprints; you will develop test plans to verify software requirements and usability and validate test plans with the Software Engineering team 
  • Work closely with the team to improve product quality and communicate test results to the concerned stakeholders
  • Research and implement tools to meet team automation objectives
  • Plan, organize necessary tests to improve product functionality, communicate testing results to the Development team and other partners 
  • Provide progress status/reports to management and executives on the use and adoption of test automation 
  • Negotiate and coordinate with impacted groups regarding time frames and commitment dates 

Your Skills & Experience  

  • 1+ years of experience in automation software quality assurance
  • Experience with automation testing and frameworks (Jenkins, Robot, Cypress, Endtest)
  • Hands on experience in writing, updating and maintaining test automation scripts
  • Ability to drive the QA automation efforts by creating scripts, syncing with others members of the QA, Dev, BA, and PO teams
  • Coach QA members in automation tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium and Appium  
  • Familiarity with API testing and data validation with tools (i.e. REST, JSON)
  • Experience in working with agile environment and using issue tracking systems (i.e. JIRA)  
  • Previous experience with software quality tools (test case management, project planning, automation, etc.)  
  • Experience with JavaScript, PHP, Cucumber/Gherkin; Docker an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French an asset
