JOB SUMMARY:
As part of the Trace3xperience Program, the Project Coordinator Tracer (PC Intern) will manage various projects, including but not limited to hardware installations, data center builds, cloud rollouts, security health checks, penetration tests, etc. These projects will provide the Tracer an opportunity to work independently and/or alongside senior project managers/program managers to perform various coordinating tasks such as scheduling and risk management, maintaining project documentation, and handling the financial hygiene of the projects.
Tracers in this program will receive accelerated professional development, exposure to all technical functions of an IT consulting organization, world-class mentoring, and unique networking opportunities across the organization.
***This position is only open to candidates located in Michigan during the summer of 2025 and will require the candidate to work out of our Grand Rapids, MI, office in a hybrid capacity. ***
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN AND DO:
- Develop task lists or project schedules in alignment with the scope and objectives defined in the Statement of Work
- Coordinate technical resources as needed to provide support or ensure delivery of a successful solution, depending on the agreement with the client
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the project team for the engagement
- Collaborate or escalate as required to address business or technical issues related to the project
- Track all project related costs, including Time & Expenses entries
- Manage and maintain project information in the appropriate systems
- Generate reports and produce internal project-related deliverables
- Partner with Project Managers as required to provide administrative/coordination support or assist with the production of project deliverables
ELIGIBILITY AND PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Enrollment in the Junior or Senior year of an undergraduate program, at an accredited college or university
- Candidates should be pursuing a field of study applicable to the Project Coordinator Internship
- Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better; People and Organizational Health may require a copy of the applicant’s transcrip
- Academic or professional/internship experience working in a professional setting is a plus
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accepts direction on given assignments
- Self-motivated individuals with a customer mindset and desire to help people
- Enthusiasm for technical problem solving with attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to learn and research in a dynamic and engaging environment
- Availability to work 40 hours per week throughout the internship
