C.E. Precision Assemblies, a Trexon company, seeks a Part Time Staff Accountant for its Chandler, AZ location. As a Staff Accountant, you would report directly to the Finance Manager. This position will ensure a smooth financial process and assist with financial operations to ensure our company runs smoothly.
The successful candidate should possess strong attention to detail, a “Do it Right the First Time” mentality, and the willingness to learn new processes. They will foster a collaborative team environment while demonstrating the ability to assess and enhance existing processes.
Weekly Schedule: Part Time, 24 hours or less per week
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00
Accounts Payable:
- Receive and review vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Verify purchase orders against invoices.
- Process invoices for payment and ensure proper approvals.
- Maintain vendor records.
- Resolve any vendor discrepancies.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger.
Accounts Receivable:
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers on overdue payments.
- Post customer payments to the appropriate accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and send customer statements on an as needed basis.
- Reconcile accounts receivable to ensure all payment are accounted for and posted.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger.
Required Skills:
- Proven understanding and working experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, CETEC or other full-scale accounting software, and hands-on experience operating spreadsheet.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced and continuously changing environment.
- Associate's degree in finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
