What you’ll do:
As a Benefits Advisor, you will responsible for program design leadership, financial stewardship, and strategic planning in creating and implementing competitive and innovative domestic and global employee benefit programs designed to attract, engage, integrate, and retain the employee talent essential to achieving business objectives. Additional responsibilities include:
- Providing recommendations on benefits philosophy changes to address evolving business needs; evaluate and translate industry best practices to increase program effectiveness; evaluate new site selections to ensure appropriate benefits coverage; partner directly with benefits broker and vendors to ensure highly competitive, cost-effective, and employee-tailored benefits offerings that set Torc apart from competitors within the Autonomy market.
- Demonstrated planning, implementation, administration and communication skills as well as project leadership, negotiation and change management, analysis and metric-based decision-making, group facilitation and training, risk mitigation and vendor management.
- Partnering with Marketing and Communications and People Operations team, incorporate all program features (including but not limited to: medical, dental, life, 401(k), STD, LTD, Wellness, PTO, FMLA, voluntary benefits, relocation, ex-patriate programs, etc.) into one holistic and recognized benefits brand.
- Develop and implement diverse and inclusive employee communications strategies, conduct surveys to measure program effectiveness.
- Developing annual plan design recommendations, presented cost, regulatory implications, and cultural impacts.
- Ensuring program competitiveness, legal compliance, cost minimization and administrative excellence; conducts/facilitates plans audits; ensures correct and timely completion of 5500s and other required documents.
What you’ll need to Succeed:
- 8+ years of similar work experience (or ability to demonstrate expected level of competence) in Employee Benefits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s preferred.
- Professional certification such as SPHR-SCP, SPHR, CEBS, CBP, etc.
- Experience advising leaders on employee benefit programs.
- Experience researching, developing, and managing global and domestic benefits packages.
- Experience working with contemporary HR Technology platforms; Workday experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of legal requirements impacting Human Resources and Benefits including but not limited to EEO, ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, and emerging regulatory issues.
