What you'll do:
We are seeking an experienced hands-on Senior Software Architect to drive the development of Mission Control and Logistics Integration by analyzing the technical needs with emphasis on quality, scalability and cloud first systems. You will be responsible for making high-level decisions, and create architectural approaches for software engineering and development. You should be comfortable working in a team environment and be receptive to both giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Architect, design and develop large scale and high-availability solutions for Logistics Integration applications
- Create, document, and maintain design/architecture standards for Logistics Integration
- Align engineering practices and drive standardization and best practices within the code base
- Champion innovation and ideation in your Core Team
- Liaise with Mission Control and Logistics Integration teams (Product, Development, Testing and Release), System Design and other Engineering teams (Architecture)
- Research and stay up to date with the latest industry standards, technology trends and evaluate the application for Mission Control and Logistics Integration
What You'll Need To Succeed:
- PhD, Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field with 5 or more years of relevant industry experience or relevant experience
- 3+ years professional experience in engineering or comparable role for a SaaS, Cloud based, Logistic service or other digital service product.
- Background in Full-stack Development, Software Architecture, IoT Systems, or other experience in architecture, designing or developing complex systems or solutions
- Experience in developing cloud first systems (AWS, Azure)
- Openness to work across different time zones and locations required
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); Behavior/Test-Driven Development
- Application development (Modern C++, Python, REST API, Node JS)
- HTML5/CSS/JavaScript/JSON
- SQL/NoSQL/Dynamo DB

- Experience in defining and designing Interfaces to multiple external systems
- Experience in robotics, aerospace, automotive engineering, or IoT Systems development
- Experience in developing or designing systems with large message volumes

- Interpersonal and technical troubleshooting skills (real-time and in-depth analysis)
