What you'll do:
We are seeking a Software Engineer Co-Op to support the deployment, testing and operation of the Mission Control and Logistics Integration team’s products. This team provides humans and external systems with the interfaces necessary to interact with the Virtual Driver AI.
You will work closely with other engineers and product owners to develop SW running on the vehicle, in the cloud and in the browser that can connect individuals to the AI components of the system
You will contribute to the design of innovative solutions for all aspects of the Mission Control system
You will develop and maintain Web Applications, API's, backend services and on vehicle software
You will work across teams to develop integrated solutions
You will proactively be identifying improvements to solutions developed by the team
Candidate is expected to work 40 hours a week during the duration of their co-op.
What you'll need to succeed:
Candidate must be a full-time student currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
0-2 years of experience
Basic knowledge of Linux platforms
Web Application UI and API development
Relational Database Management Systems (using SQL)
Basic software development experience
Familiarity with one or more C/C++, Python, shell scripting, JavaScript
Familiarity with Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
