About the Role:

Talent Acquisition at Torc is comprised of a collaborative and dedicated team of individuals operating in a very fast-paced environment. We are looking for an additional Recruiter to help scale our growing organization with a focus on Business Operations and Safety. Responsibilities include sourcing, screening and serving as recruiting partner to the various hiring teams. This role will perform all duties of a full life cycle Recruiter. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire, and build a strong talent pipeline - helping to hire for our current and future positions.

Job Duties:

  • Partner with hiring teams to set recruiting strategy and achieve annual hiring goals
  • Responsible for full life cycle recruitment from screening and selection to negotiation, offer and close, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience
  • Recruit candidates using a variety of methods including but not limited to job postings, referrals, local partnerships, and social media platforms
  • Strategically plan and own a pipeline of exceptionally qualified candidates and maintain their interest throughout the entire process
  • Responsible for sourcing passive candidates for tough-to-fill positions and creatively sourcing for niche roles
  • Partner with dedicated recruiting coordinators to schedule and coordinate interviews
  • Maintain and update all pertinent applicant and interview data in the applicant tracking system
  • Consult with hiring managers in creating and maintaining job postings to accurately reflect role responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of Torc and our culture and use this understanding to provide inspiring information to candidates about Torc, our business strategy and the opportunity

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
  • 5+ years experience managing full life cycle recruiting in a corporate environment, within the information technology industry preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive partnerships with Hiring Managers and Leaders. Ability to influence key stakeholders with the courage to challenge and set expectations
  • Solution orientated, able to solve recruitment problems and challenges
  • Creative approach to recruitment and ways to attract top quality talent with the ability to present new recruiting concepts to stakeholders
  • A drive for results, able to manage a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Sense of urgency with the ability to respond and follow through in a timely and efficient manner
  • Experience with applicant tracking system (ATS) software, Greenhouse ATS preferred 
  • Effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed
  • Demonstrated ability to work with considerable independence and make decisions requiring applications of judgment based on the knowledge of policies, procedures, and operating practices related to hiring
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Professional demeanor with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately
