The Role, Along With Everything You’d Expect

  • Own customer interactions from start to resolution through all of our support channels which include; live chat, Discord, and phones.
  • Use technical ability to master trading platforms, internal tools, and proprietary systems. 
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge through ongoing education.
  • Skillfully troubleshoot incoming inquiries, determining severity and escalating to the appropriate team when necessary.
  • Make every trader interaction as meaningful as possible.
  • Actively participate in improving the help center and our internal knowledge bases.
  • Contribute to team goals by focusing on CSAT, Quality Assurance, and overall response times.
  • Educate both existing and potential customers in their understanding of how Topstep works.
  • Participate in beta testing new features.
  • Contribute to the overall growth and innovation of the company through idea generation and active participation in collaborative team projects.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Remote within the US (outside of California and New York)
  • Has highspeed internet 
  • Can type a minimum of 30 WPM
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred 
  • Great customer interaction is your top priority
  • You have a reasonable understanding of white-glove customer care
  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a customer contact position
  • You are familiar with CRM tools
  • You are comfortable working remotely and using asynchronous tools to communicate
  • You can communicate proactively with your colleagues
  • You have strong organizational skills
  • You are goal and results-oriented
  • You are able to handle ambiguity with confidence and ease
  • Actively seeks feedback for continuous improvement
