At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

More than 1/3 of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet. 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss.

Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food, with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at ⅓ of retail value. We are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste. Alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 111 million registered users and 237,000 active partners across 19 countries, have together already saved over 410 million meals from going to waste - avoiding almost 1,066,000 tonnes of CO2e.

Too Good To Go was named in FastCompany’s March 2022 list of the World's Most Innovative Companies, and was honoured to be included in TIME’s list of the 100 Most Influential Companies of 2022.

We’re looking for an exceptional Sales Team Lead to join the Sales team at Too Good To Go in Perth, Australia.

The Role

You will ignite enthusiasm for Too Good To Go within the Perth market and pave the way for impactful partnerships.

This role will have a mix of in-office and field days to balance togetherness, work flexibility and great customer engagement. Our head office is in Melbourne, and you will spend time online working with the teams in Melbourne and Sydney but we do have an office in Perth for you and the team to work from. We’d love to have someone who can lead the way in Perth, with ownership of your state and the growth we see there.

In a nutshell:

  • You are excited to lead and contribute to a strong team culture in Perth including feedback and learning from the wider Australia team - you’ll be our first hire in the market and team culture is important to us
  • You will split your time between signing and building your own pipeline, and leading your team to achieve their own sales targets, focusing mainly on segments like bakery, grocery and cafe.
  • You will use various communication methods to drive results - including in-person meetings, emails and phone calls
  • You pride yourself on building and maintaining a strong, healthy pipeline using Salesforce, focusing on conversion and achieving monthly targets
  • You understand the importance of signing high quality stores and post sales onboarding and support
  • You’ll work closely with your manager (based in Melbourne) to brainstorm ideas and provide updates on our growth potential in Perth and execution of strategies

What are we looking for?

  • Results-Oriented Performers: Consistent achievers who excel at meeting both individual and team targets, with a deep understanding of organisation in sales and pipeline management
  • Growth Mindset: Individuals who are adaptable, eager to learn, have proven problem-solving skills and are committed to embodying our values as we navigate the Australian market.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
