Reporting directly to the Franchised Supermarkets Team Lead, you will be pivotal in driving acquisition and development of key partnerships within the independent supermarkets industry. You will also support the business development activities of the team, including preparing for pitches and delivering pilot launches. 🚀

 

Your role

  • Prospection & Relationship Management:
    • Conduct phone and field prospection of a diverse prospect portfolio, including independent supermarkets and network managers.
    • Schedule appointments, attend meetings, and deliver compelling pitches to secure new partnerships.
    • Provide consistent follow-up with prospects and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive loyalty and retention.
  • Account Growth & Commercialisation:
    • Actively promote the Too Good To Go platform to increase adoption and turnover.
    • Identify and open new accounts while ensuring ongoing support to sustain and grow relationships.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Manage and mentor an intern, ensuring their development aligns with the team's goals.
    • Support Franchise Area Specialists during regional meetings, director engagements, and trade shows.
  • Event Participation & Industry Engagement:
    • Represent Too Good To Go at professional trade fairs, networking events, and regional conferences to build brand awareness and drive business opportunities.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Use data analysis tools and MS Excel to create performance reports, analyze trends, and identify growth opportunities for both new and existing accounts.

 

Requirements

  • Solid commercial experience working in Sales or KAM. The candidate should have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of French retail in this sector.
  • Account Management experience, demonstrating an ability to build rapport, establish trust, deepen relationships, and grow business 
  • Excellent commercial acumen.
  • You’re a master communicator, you know when to speak, you know how to listen, and you know how to engage a whole room and keep their attention.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Ability to lead negotiations skillfully, and create and deliver high impact pitches
  • Beneficial: Data Analysis and Spreadsheet skills to use raw data to create performance reports
  • You understand trends, opportunities and issues.
  • You are fluent in French, as well as in English.
