We are looking for an exceptional Sales Manager to join our team, based in Prague, Czechia.

Your Mission:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Independent Partners and Key Accounts team in Czechia and you will directly report to the CZ/PL Country Director. 

You will play a crucial role in scaling Too Good To Go in Czechia as you are jointly responsible for defining the growth strategy and for achieving our agreed goals for the acquisition and supply of our partners.

You will lead a motivated Independent Partner and Key Accounts team of 12 (9 direct reports) with the aim of further optimising, building and promoting the development of the team.  You will be the most senior person in the Czechia team and will be responsible for developing and maintaining the team culture.

Your Role:

  • You will lead the Key Accounts and Independent Partners Teams with the aim of making it a high-performing team that supports and inspires one another, whilst driving team morale and a positive culture
  • Communication skills: A great storyteller with proven presentation skills to different stakeholders including C-suite. 
  • Negotiation skills: is a skilled negotiator and has the ability to help and train employees to oversee complex negotiations and create and deliver high-impact pitches. 
  • Account Management & relationship building: ensuring partnerships are strong & we have meaningful relationships with senior leadership to deliver strategies that will grow our partnerships. 
  • Contributing to the CZ strategy and supporting international collaboration across global key-chain opportunities
  • Planning and forecasting: building reports to track performance and identify trends, create financial projections and forecasts for internal planning and commercial proposals, translated into clear KPIs for the team
  • Frequent collaboration is required with Marketing teams both internally at Too Good To Go and within partner organisations, to maximise the opportunities to increase awareness of partnerships and sustainability goals progress
  • You will be a key player in participating in local media and press conferences and be that brand ambassador for Too Good To Go’s Czech market 
  • Leadership: You continuously empower, mentor & develop the individuals in your team, working together with the Country Director, People & Culture Manager and Cluster/Global functions
  • Your team describes you as engaging, strategic, analytical, results-oriented, hands-on and resilient
  • Domestic and international travel required from time to time

Key Capabilities:

  • Strong commercial insight with a results-driven approach
  • Expert in setting and achieving KPIs/ targets
  • Extensive experience in commercial roles, particularly in Key Account Management, as well as Independent Sales
  • Proven ability to drive business development and sales, building relationships with senior stakeholders and successfully selling propositions across diverse sectors
  • In-depth experience in food retail, FMCG, and/or foodtech, with a broad network and deep knowledge of national commercial accounts, including supermarkets, convenience stores, grocery stores, and discount food retailers
  • Skilled at translating strategic vision into actionable market plans and leading their execution
  • Accomplished leader with exceptional people management expertise
  • Strong track record in project and stakeholder management
  • Comfortable navigating the dynamic environment of start-up businesses and confident in launch settings
  • Proficient in Salesforce (or similar) and other sales tools, with a solid grasp of sales methodologies such as  MEDDICC.
