We’re looking for an exceptional Partnerships Team Lead to join the Canadian Growth team based in Toronto, ON.

The Team Lead role offers a unique opportunity to grow our Canadian store portfolio. As a player-coach, you'll lead a high-performing partner growth team, focusing on relationship building and retention. You'll use data analysis to enhance partner service, ensuring partners stay happy, supply consistently, and adopt sustainable practices, driving our mission forward.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead by example, successfully carrying an individual quota.
    • Motivate, manage, and develop a high-performing team focused on retaining and growing partnerships.
    • Cascade messaging appropriately. 
    • Active listening skills, thorough 1:1’s, and clean team presentations. 
    • Deliver clear expectations and have tough performance and behaviour conversations. 
    • Help develop training materials and execute training sessions.
  • Coaching and Development:
    • Passion for coaching and mentorship. 
    • Effectively coach Partner Growth Specialists in their pitch, negotiating & closing techniques. 
    • Build and execute development plans and conversations with confidence.
    • Curious about performance, KPI’s, and team behaviour to drive actions.
    • Lead team meetings- driving conversation, asking probing questions, and shaping/presenting best practices.
  • Data Analysis and Planning:
    • Plan, execute, and analyze market data to set team focus.
    • Develop and test activities for store growth and retention.
    • Identify challenges and collaborate with other departments to implement scalable solutions.
    • Use Salesforce and business intelligence tools to track team performance and visualize KPI attainment.
  • Partner Management:
    • Deeply understand partner needs, experience and pain points to work collaboratively with other functions to provide scalable solutions to our partners
    • Ensure quality onboarding and ongoing support for new stores.

We’re looking for:

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of customer success, account management, or sales experience.
    • Expertise in portfolio management focused on optimization and retention.
    • Proven track record as a top performer in a quota-carrying role.
    • Proficiency with data analysis and reporting in Google Sheets and Salesforce
  • Demonstrated experience coaching a customer success, account management, or sales team:
    • Ideally in a high volume, fast paced sales environment
    • Coaching individual contributors to performer at their fullest potential
  • A Team Player:
    • Starts with a collaborative mindset among partners and teammates alike
    • Invests in others and approaches with humility
  • Someone with a Growth Mindset:
