Imagine if there was something we could all change today that would reduce global warming by 10% - That’s how much food waste contributes to the climate crisis, and yet we continue to waste 40% of all the food produced.

Our mission at Too Good To Go is to inspire and empower people to save food from going to waste every day. We have a simple solution: The Too Good To Go app connects supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, cafes, canteens and hotels with our users, who can pick up excess food at a reduced price. This is how we ensure that good food ends up on the plate instead of in the bin.

Too Good To Go has set itself the goal of being a humanely, economically and socially sustainable company. We have already been certified as a B Corp company and we are looking for a Student worker to help our commercial team in their efforts to help our partners reduce their food waste.

Your role:

  • You support our Commercial team in their daily work so that we offer our partners great customer experiences and optimize the number of meals saved.
  • Making calls to our Key Account partners to offer ongoing support and guidance
  • You will work closely with different areas within the Commercial team and get to know team processes
  • You get insights into our tools, create reports and analyze relevant data
  • You brainstorm and help with marketing campaigns
  • Help out with any other ancillary tasks that are needed

What are we looking for:

  • You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable connecting with people via phone or email.
  • You can handle simple data sets and create actions based on insights from the data
  • You identify with our mission and want to change society positively through your work.
  • You communicate confidently in Norwegian and have good English skills.
  • You are a student or someone looking for a part-time job and would like to support us up to 20 hours a week (hours may vary)

Our Values:

  • We win together: Food waste is a big beast to fight. We can do it if we win together as Food Hero’s with no ego. We believe in #oneteam
  • We raise the bar: we always push for more. We work smart, smash barriers and elevate one another.
  • We keep it simple: our ambitions are bold but our solutions are simple.
  • We build a legacy: we’re proud of the change we’re driving.
  • We care: we always look out for each other. Caring is also about the way we do business. We do the right thing.

What we offer:

  • A rare opportunity to work in a social impact company (and certified B Corporation!) where you get to wake up every day knowing you’re achieving positive change.
  • The experience of being part of an international company with over 1,200 enthusiastic and highly talented teammates across numerous countries – always ready to share knowledge and support!
