At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: To inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. We are the world's #1 app for fighting food waste. We work with thousands of restaurants and food retailers to make their surplus food available to local consumers. The magic of Too Good To Go has been expanding rapidly across Europe and now also the US and Canada, with over 100 million meals saved across 17 countries to date.

To help us grow and develop our expanding team in the best Too Good To Go way, we are looking for a passionate People & Culture Manager for our Danish team.

Your new mission:

No matter what we do, we are above all a people-driven company. We need someone who can work on the day-to-day operations, as well as create and deliver a compelling People & Culture vision and strategy for the longer-term.

You’ll report directly to the Danish Country Manager, join the Danish management team and will be part of a supportive global People & Culture team. 

Your role:

A true people person, you'll be the go-to person for all employees and you'll work with our global P&C team to implement initiatives, guidelines and processes as well as ensure that we are living our culture as #oneteam.

You will be responsible for developing structures and strategies to support the Danish team and help us on our scale-up endeavour:

People Operations: You will devise a smooth operating process for basic HR Admin activities aligned with the global organisation and liaise with third-party providers. You can advise the management on employment law and make sure we comply with all rules and regulations. 

Recruitment: You will partner with hiring managers to find the right people and give candidates a great experience, ensuring compliance with global recruitment processes at any time. You will be responsible for organizing interviews, supporting the offer process and creating the employment contracts. You will ensure that new joiners receive a full introduction to our culture and values to be a successful Waste Warrior from day one.

Project management: You will be responsible for driving and implementing global projects and initiatives in the Danish team. But also designing and driving development projects and social initiatives. You like to take lead on things and execute with a fairly high cadence to secure progress. 

Learning and People Growth: Design and lead inspiring development and engagement initiatives that champion a high-performance culture which supports our mission and business objectives. Put in place high-impact solutions based on our learning and development plans for the different teams. 


  • Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in a mid-senior HR-related role across the whole employee life cycle, including experience with Employment Law and general Danish legislation. 
  • Full professional proficiency in Danish and English. 
  • You have a commercial mindset and bring proven problem solving and influencing skills.
  • You are a make-it-happen person who is excited to roll up your sleeves – but you also think about the longer-term business implications and requirements.
  • You are highly organized and can bring structure and clarity to anything.
  • You are a strong project manager capable of leading a project from A to Z 
  • You thrive in a job that moves quickly and are extremely comfortable with change.
  • You are a great communicator, who enjoys presenting and can plan and execute trainings.
  • You are a confident G Suite user.
  • You are able to work from our office in Østerbro five days a week.
