  • Work with scientific lead to design and implement experimental plans to optimize programmable gene insertion tools in different cell types
  • Perform DNA/RNA transfections and viral transductions
  • Quantify genome editing events using various molecular assays
  • Data analysis, figure generation and reporting of results within a timely manor
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory space
  • Present findings at small forums and R&D meetings
  • Maintain a thorough and detailed electronic lab notebook

Needed Qualifications:

  • B.A/B. S, or MS in cell biology, molecular biology or related fields with 4+ or 2+ years of working experience
  • Prior experience with CRISPR or other gene editing tools
  • Prior experience in non-viral or viral gene delivery
  • Proficiency in mammalian cell culture techniques, flow cytometry, ddPCR, ELISA, qPCR, DNA and RNA extraction, transfection, electroporation, and western blotting
