The Marketing Operations Director will lead and build a best practice marketing operations team, create agile marketing methodologies and processes and develop the infrastructure needed to support our revenue engine and be a major contributor to our strategic growth objectives. Reporting to the CMO, this individual will be responsible for connecting Marketing processes, data, and systems to create alignment and operational efficiencies between Marketing, Sales, and Client Success.

This role is charged with creating aligned processes, developing analytics to drive intelligence and overseeing systems that enable our marketing team to run integrated marketing campaigns to attract, engage, and convert prospects and customers. This role works in alignment with multiple functions to evolve our marketing ecosystem, including Demand Generation, IT, Sales, and Sales Operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· May supervise 1-2 Marketing Operations Team and/or Sales


· Drives global strategy and implementation of consistent marketing processes, analytics, reporting and technology to support and optimize demand generation

· Serves as Marketing business owner to evolve the leveraging of Marketing Automation, Campaign Management, Lead Routing, Data Analysis, and other key tools in the Togetherwork stack

· Ensures the lead to revenue framework, roadmap, and development, as well as associated connection points between inbound/outbound leads, sales qualification, and opportunity management is consistent, accountable, and measurable

· Oversees strategy, execution, and operation of lead flow processes, governance, and programs between Marketing Automation and CRMs such as lead scoring and development SLAs to drive funnel efficiencies

· Conducts strategic and tactical oversight of company strategy and the interactions with other integrated systems such as predictive scoring technologies, attribution modeling, predictive content, external lead sources. and more

· Develops metrics and analysis to measure marketing performance across all buyer touch points which informs and optimizes marketing investments in channel strategy across web, search, social, email, events, and more

· Maintains data within marketing systems focused on process management, lead and contact enrichment, data hygiene, data governance, and quality

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Demonstrated understanding of the marketing and sales technology ecosystem for software companies, including a marketing automation system for b2b companies. HubSpot and Pardot experience preferred.

· Excellent strategic thinking and ability to lead through influence. Highly analytical nature, with an ability to roll up sleeves and “go deep” as needed to improve performance and outcomes

· Demonstrated strong listening, information gathering, and empathy skills for uncovering and defining deliverables, needs and outcomes

· Proven leadership skills in being an innovator, collaborator, and communicator

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail

· Ability to conduct and correctly interpret research and web analytics

· Ability to implement marketing plans

· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field required.

· 5+ years’ experience in roles of increasing responsibility within Sales or Marketing Operations, with demonstrated and impactful results in terms of process improvement, data analysis and technology implementation, management, and optimization

Salary Range Disclosure

The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.
