Highsnobiety is looking for an Editorial Intern to assist our content manager and senior social media manager. The focus of this internship will be creating native “stories” and writing push notifications for the Highsnobiety app, as well as creating video content for the Highsnobiety social media team. The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, creative, motivated, and interested in the world of luxury fashion and culture.
YOUR MISSION:
- Create engaging, timely content for the Highsnobiety app
- Film and edit content for the social media team
- Assist the Content Manager to strategize long term initiatives exclusive to the Highsnobiety app
- Participate in team brainstorms and content-planning sessions
- Support the Director of Social and Director of Editorial Operations on ad-hoc projects
YOUR SKILLS:
- Basic knowledge of video editing in CapCut
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Able to write clean, pithy copy - strong writing skills
- Keen eye for engaging visuals
- Interested in creating video content
- A strong sense of what Highsnobiety represents. You should be plugged into popular culture with awareness of what’s going in in fashion, music, and other elements of Highsnobiety’s landscape
- Enthusiastic about working on new platforms with high growth potential within the company
- Currently enrolled in a university program that is linked to journalism, design, marketing, communication (or similar), or are a recent graduate
- Must be local to NYC and authorized to work in the US at least 3 days a week and come into our NY office twice a week (Tuesday and Wednesday)
- Practical experience and internships in similar companies are a plus

All interns earn a wage of $16 per hour.
