We are looking for a Senior Collaborations Manager to join our team in Berlin, who will own all Highsnobiety collaborations, with a focus on building and realizing Highsnobiety’s collaboration schedule.

This brand-first-minded manager, with a strong ability to manage complex projects, will set and drive the collaborative pipeline from partner selection through to design. They should ensure our collaborations deliver for our brand, our community and commercially. To achieve that, a key role and tool for the success of this manager is the close work and collaboration with each project's core teams, consisting of the Brand Energy VP, design, creative-, product & buying, activation, logistics and events, as well as the HS Agency in cases of a sponsored collaboration.

On a process level, this manager makes sure that all teams contribute to our collaborations and deliver against their deadlines for the overall projects to succeed. Equally as important, a strong existing network and more so the ability to build, maintain and expand relationships to have them benefit our plans and the brand’s overarching strategy, will be a top requirement for this senior role at Highsnobiety.

 

YOUR MISSION:

  • In collaboration with the Brand Energy VP, build, own and lead the current and future annual schedules of all Highsnobiety x brand collaborations
  • Lead through the pitching to all collaborators, in tandem with the Brand Energy VP, Creative Director, CEO, whoever has the best way in with the respective collaborator
  • Manage the design, creative, product, activation, logistics, event and partnerships teams through the projects to deliver holistic Highsnobiety x brand initiatives
  • Own collaborations related processes, spanning from the projects' initiations to their realizations and public releases
  • Keep the brand, its identity and long term goals top of mind
  • Contribute your own network of potential collaborators and creative ideas, to strengthen Highsnobiety’s output and brand vision
  • Together with the team, create and oversee project related timelines and budgets, record revenues, track costs and maintain accurate profit and loss statements for each individual collaboration
  • Communicate deadlines, budgets and approvals and hold internal and external collaborators accountable to meet their respective contributions
  • Foresee challenges or obstacles and take action to minimize negative impact
  • Equally, identify aspirational opportunities and define plans for tackling them as projects, which once approved become a reality
  • Build relationships with collaborators throughout the projects to retain them for future opportunities
  • Maintain all project assets, archive projects and create standardized reports, after each project concluded
  • Work closely with the brand leadership to improve workflows and processes
  • Oversee all of the collaborations’ different components, even if they’re not a direct part of this role’s scope, to in the most internal and external collaborative way craft collabs that make sense from idea, to product, campaign and activation.

 

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Combined minimum of 4-6 years experience in Brand or Marketing roles in the creative industry
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • An existing strong network of potential creative collaborators, from brands to artists, institutions and more, is preferred
  • Resilient and able to handle multiple projects at all times
  • Understanding of the Highsnobiety brand, aesthetic and community
  • Experience in working with a variety of different stakeholders from business leaders, to creatives and designers to logistics and event professionals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work well under time pressure
  • Solution-oriented
  • Ability to think analytically
  • Enjoy working in a forward-thinking, dynamic team
