Role Overview

We are looking for a Director of Finance. As the founding member of Titan’s Finance team, you will help establish disciplined and accurate FP&A processes - budgeting, forecasting, monthly reviews with leadership, and long-range planning. You will track, report, and communicate progress against budget/plan with business stakeholders and leadership team on a monthly basis. You will also partner closely with the Business Operations and Growth teams to update and manage dashboards to make these metrics widely accessible across the organization.

 
What You'll Do
  • Establish disciplined and accurate financial planning & analysis (FP&A) processes - budgeting, forecasting, monthly reviews with senior leadership, board deck prep, and long-term planning
  • Own the day-to-day finance function (including bill pay, vendor management, expense management and allocation, payment initiation, payroll operations)
  • Project manage cross-functional financial improvement projects that will increase top-line revenue, reduce operating costs, and boost returns on invested capital
  • Collaborate with leaders across the company to identify and execute on financial opportunities, from Growth to Engineering to HR and beyond
  • Develop and implement enhanced accounts payable and expense reimbursement controls, policies, and procedures that will scale with growth

Qualifications 

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in investment banking or corporate finance, running forecasting, budget/expense management, and investment decisions, plus experience at a high-growth startup
  • Bachelor’s degree and a record of academic achievement
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Highly effective written and communication skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint, and/or SQL
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and accounting principles 
  • Resourcefulness, persistence, and ability to thrive in fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to work independently and a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize, and juggle multiple projects
  • CFP / CPA is a plus
