As our Head of Investments, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading Tion’s investment activities
  • Managing and driving acquisitions across the entire transaction process, including screening, investment analysis, financial modelling, due diligence, deal structuring, risk management, negotiation, transaction documentation, closing, and portfolio integration of acquired assets
  • Overseeing Tion’s extensive M&A pipeline and accelerating global business development activities in close cooperation with the management board
  • Building strong relationships and cooperating closely with Tion’s development partners across the world
  • Supervising and further developing Tion’s investment team

As a potential candidate, you have:

  • Strong passion for investing, corporate finance and/or capital markets
  • A highly ambitious attitude to strive for excellence and continuous growth
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to think critically, ask the right questions and dig deep
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of ownership, and hands-on team player mentality
  • Exceptional corporate finance expertise
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to drive projects end-to end with excellent project and stakeholder management
  • Significant work experience in finance, mergers & acquisitions, investment banking, or private equity
  • Prior work experience in the energy transition space is considered as a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • German is considered a plus
