About the role:

As a Senior Product Manager on a small but growing product team, you will drive product innovation from inception to execution and iteration for some of the highest impact initiatives in the booming insurtech industry.

Your fingerprints will be all over our state-of-the-art web app and API used by our clients to manage their insurance programs. Your work will, in turn, benefit end consumers in a uniquely varied range of industries (RV sharing, boat sharing, pet care).

You will work directly with customers and the founding team and be involved in the early stages of the startup development to help establish the product culture and team at Tint. You will have a lot of ownership and drive ambiguous initiatives from 0 to 1.

Several tracks are available for this role:

  • Onboarding: reduce time to value, from when a customer signs up to when they are live selling insurance policies via Tint to end consumers. This includes deciding the terms of insurance and guarantees they want to sell but also facilitating the dev integration of our API
  • Performance: customers need visibility on their insurance program's growth. Make it simple for them to understand which levers they have to increase revenue. Make those levers actionable with the relevant product features.
  • Payments: bill and move money seamlessly between all parties of the Tint ecosystem: insurers, claimants, customers, end users

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience as a PM, working in an agile environment with designers, engineers, and data analysts.
  • Ability to quickly zoom out and see the bigger strategic picture, as well as zoom in and roll up your sleeves to get the nitty-gritty of product definition and corner cases
  • Strong analytical skills are a must. SQL proficiency is strongly preferred
  • Thrive in ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to work with engineers and designers to ship products
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams, manage stakeholders, and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced startup environment
  • An eye for good design
  • Prior experience as a Software engineer or Data scientist is a plus
  • Experience working on APIs, Saas, and/or Enterprise products is a plus
