The Job:

The Recruiter (Entertainment and Lifestyles), will report directly to FanSided Inc.’s Senior Director of Recruiting, providing support for other members of the Operations and Editorial teams as needed. This is a key role for a detail-oriented, quick thinker, and sales orientated person interested in adjusting processes to maximize efficiency across a publicly traded company.

In particular, we are looking for someone with a solid understanding of the Entertainment and Lifestyles topics and websites that can utilize that expertise to find candidates to recruit for our various site openings.

This has the potential to be a remote opportunity. 

 

You Will:

  • Take the lead in recruiting new site experts, volunteer contributors, and paid contributors across our Entertainment and Lifestyles divisions. You will evaluate, communicate, assist, outline expectations, and mentor potential candidates.
  • Work closely with Divisional Directors and Senior Director of Recruiting to identify priority areas of need.
  • Maintain understanding of FanSided Best Practices and utilize knowledge when reviewing candidates.
  • Maintain a log of all recruiting efforts; noting divisions and sites assigned, decisions rendered by candidates, and reasoning for decision.
  • Assist in managing Draftday/Springboard (FanSided on-boarding system)
  • Troubleshoot and help any contributors
  • Work closely with Tech team to continually improve DraftDay and onboarding process
  • Assist the Operations team in any areas or with any projects in which they may need assistance
  • Create and modify trainings for contributors
