TIME for Kids is seeking an editorial assistant for its current events magazine that is used in elementary- and middle-school classrooms. This is an entry-level position. No previous professional experience is required, but internship experience is a plus. The editorial assistant will be involved in various administrative tasks as well as some aspects of creating content. He/she will have the opportunity to write stories for TIME For Kids and timeforkids.com. We are seeking a talented team player that wants to learn and grow with the job and the brand.

Handle various administrative duties for the Editorial Director, including submitting expense reports, coordinating meetings and schedules, and booking travel.
Handle various administrative duties for the team, including submitting invoices, maintaining story lists, answering reader letters, and acting as a liaison with outside vendors such as translators and audio talent.
