The Audience Engagement Editor will be responsible for managing Travel + Leisure’s daily programming on Facebook, Pinterest, and other social platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to frame T+L’s content for each audience to maximize engagement, and will help editors identify and create stories each day with viral potential.
Work with the Senior Audience Engagement Editor to develop a strategy for Facebook and Pinterest, and program each platform daily.
Pitch and write stories with the goal of driving an audience from social.
Identify social-friendly stories for the editorial team to pursue.
Test and optimize the T+L social programming strategy based on KPI.
Obsessed with social platforms and their role as content distribution platforms.
A strong writer with a sophisticated yet relatable voice.
Comfortable multi-tasking and managing multiple projects.
Familiar with publishing content in a CMS.
