This position is part of the Time Inc UK. Information Technology team. The candidate will be responsible for development related to the ongoing support, fine-tuning, and extension of the organization’s Communities (B2C) mymagazine website. This is based on Salesforce.com and Zuora platform. Other responsibilities include technical design, development, code review and testing. We are seeking a talented individual with at least 2 years of Force.com development experience and also Communities hands on experience.
The individual will join an existing Salesforce team who support the Time Inc Subscriptions solution called Bluebird and will be an extension to the development activities when possible.
Ability to analyse and liaise with business stakeholders to identify and document requirements.
Develop Communities Salesforce.com solutions based on requirements using applicable best practices, provide input on design approaches and document solutions.
Supplement Salesforce Admins as necessary to set up fields, profiles, roles, security, and other configurations.
Apex and Visual force development.
Collaborate with the existing Bluebird Time Inc team to share knowledge, promote new features that add business values, and when possible assist on the development stream.
Must have 2+ years of work experience in Communities Salesforce.com projects and at least 1 year hands experience
Must be able to lead conversations with UK business stakeholders for requirements gathering, driving technical design approaches, through to build, QA, testing and implementation.
Should have expertise in Salesofrce.com standard functionality and features (Sales, Services and Marketing), Apex and Visualforce Programming and Force.com capabilities.
Working experience in SalesForce integration with multiple enterprise systems.
Good knowledge in Web Services (REST and SOAP).
Basic knowledge on Zuora subscription management system is an advantage.
Basic knowledge on Jquery, Bootstrap, Salesforce Lighting Components.
Working experience in code management best practices and tools, ideally GitHub and Jenkins
Track record of producing deliverables within agreed timelines.
Hands on development experience in an Object Oriented language such as Java is an advantage.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Work Experience Required:
3-4 years of IT experience
2 years minimum experience developing on the SFDC platform of which 1 year is as a Communities developer
Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT/Computer Science Eng.
