The VP, Brand Licensing, New York will co-head the successful execution of licensing opportunities for the company – thoughtfully evaluating new opportunities for leveraging a robust brand portfolio with massive scale while tracking performance of existing partnerships and seeing through renewals. This leader will not only run point with finance and act as the liaison to legal – they will oversee marketing and execution of partner obligations to steward critical multi-platform growth.
Identify, evaluate, structure, negotiate and manage strategic licensing partnerships and business opportunities
Develop business plans for partnerships including goals, timing, revenue and profit expectations
Work across internal stakeholder groups (including sales, marketing, editorial, product and finance) to build support and consensus for new business initiatives and licensing opportunities
Conduct regular analysis of key areas for business growth and expansion outside of core business operations
Proven: You have 10+ years of relevant licensing and business development experience working in strategy roles with a focus on the media sector and proven relationships with our traditional and new competitive set. Within your well-rooted network of business development contacts, you’re sought after for your experience with financial modeling and revenue forecasting, fluency in digital media technology and familiarity working with legal components.
