We are looking for a highly motivated, professional individual that wants to work in a challenging, dynamic environment where speed to market is a critical component of success. The right individual is an experienced MicroStrategy developer with strong data warehousing knowledge.
Collaborate with SMEs to identify BI requirements and architect MicroStrategy solutions for various business units.
Responsible for design, construction & unit testing of MicroStategy projects and reports while adhering to architectural requirements of maintainability and scalability.
Data analysis & modeling.
Maintenance and enhancements of existing MicroStrategy projects and solutions.
Continuously expand knowledge of data warehousing fundamentals and best practices, as well as new MicroStartegy features & functionality.
Support end users with report creation and troubleshooting; actively participate in user group meetings to improve the overall knowledge of the primary users of the tool.
Gain indepth understanding of our transactional systems and the relationship between those environments and the data warehouse.
4-6 years of MicroStrategy developer experience; MicroStrategy CPD/CRD perferred
Strong SQL and procedural language skills
Warehouse architecture and data modeling knowledge
Agile methodology experience
Ability to work in a globally distributed team
Experience working with MicroStrategy on Linux
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering
