Time Inc. is looking for a digital merchandiser to help ensure that all eCommerce content is optimized for the maximum amount of affiliate revenue. The digital merchandiser will help identify new commerce opportunities and trends for Real Simple and several other publications. She/he should be able to dig into data but also have great communication and writing skills, as this position works closely with stakeholders across the organization, from editorial to business to audience development. This merchandiser should be driven, self-sufficient and excited to learn more about commerce at Time Inc.
Manage editorial coverage across RealSimple.com and additional brands across Time Inc.
Track prices on products and compile archival/evergreen content to update with available products
Manage and track sales success with analytics, affiliate programs and by producing reports
Confirm all new content online is correct and update any incorrect links on a daily basis
Assist editorial teams in web link creation for products on a daily basis
Work with internal social team to ensure all promoted content is optimized
Identify trends and new promotion opportunities for the brand
Ensure archival/evergreen content is deeplinked and working properly
Eager: You're excited by the opportunity to learn more about eCommerce and have a general understanding of affiliate marketing programs. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and work in a new, uncertain environment,
Analytical: You have an interest in data and have tailored your ability to use that data to drive insights. You ideally have strong Excel skills and are able to draw conclusions from data to develop actionable recommendations to share with editorial teams.
Technical: You have knowledge of other digital media and research reporting tools (Google Analytics, CMS, ChartBeat, Facebook Insights, Omniture, etc.). You've taken a course to learn these programs or have learned on the job in an internship or full-time position.
