Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Video Operations Coordinator will support Time Inc. Video Operations with day-to-day management of our lower Manhattan facility.
Develop and maintain relationships with producers from People, Sports Illustrated, Time, Fortune, Essence, EW, InStyle, Money and other Time Inc. properties to facilitate the production of a variety of Live, VOD and other video content.
Maintain studio scheduling and calendars.
Process shoot and hair and make up requests; communicate details between producers and studio manager.
Work with the Video Operations Manager to develop management systems for our Lower Manhattan facilities, and operation and capital budgets.
Organize studio operations and procedures; provide general administrative support.
Stay up to date with video technology including cameras, lighting and audio.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven: You have two to four years of progressive experience with at least two years of camera, lighting or audio experience in the film or television industry. A BS in TV, Film, Broadcast Production or Technology is preferred.
A multi-tasking master: When it comes to juggling multiple projects at once, you’re a pro; anticipating every project need before it’s needed. You have great analytical, scheduling and booking skills. Paired with your knack for communication, no one can stop you.
Prepared: You have excellent Excel and Word skills as well as knowledge and experience with PC & Mac software and hardware. A strong knowledge of production equipment, including cameras, lights and audio is desired.
