We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual to step into a role as Art Director, working across both our Travel + Leisure and Departures brands. This is a key role for a motivated team player ready to bring contagious optimism to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid ability to perform and self-direct and to take on design responsibility for a large sections of the magazines. Design smart and compelling layouts for all sections of the magazines
Manage stories from concept to final layout and shipping
Design infographics and logos for print and digital
Research and assign illustration
Put your strong typographic skills to work
Proven: You have skills in developing concepts for stories. You’ve designed for the printed page, tablet and web. You’re a master at the Adobe Create Suite and work elegantly in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with After-Effects is a plus.
Detailed:You’re a big picture thinker, but that doesn’t mean you don’t zone in on the details of a project. You’re laser-focused on the components of the greater whole -- whether you’re working on special sections and cover packages to or the smallest of briefing items –leading with a deep understanding of how details contribute to design.
Communicative: Grace under pressure. That’s what you have. You’re indispensable to bosses, teammates for your calm, direct approach to communication.
