The Foundry is looking for a design intern to support the design team in creating advertising and marketing campaigns, as well as branded and native content, across multiple platforms. The Design Intern will be tasked with assistance in idea conception, project management, design, and execution of assigned projects. In addition, the person in this role will be responsible for general team support, including sourcing materials, conducting research, and communicating with vendors.
The ideal candidate is a full time student or recent college graduate with a passion for design and a clean aesthetic. This person will possess excellent layout and typographic skills, a strong understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite, a relentless attention to detail, the ability to take direction, a collaborative spirit and ability to work well with other team members and juggle multiple projects in a fast paced, busy environment. Past publication work experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge of Sketch is required.
Collaborate with the design team and assist in the visual branding of projects
Serve as a support to the design team by conducting research, sourcing materials, and communicating with other teams
Design layouts for print and digital platforms
Route projects for approval

Attend team brainstorms and creative meetings
