Food & Wine, a lifestyle super-brand that delivers expertly curated content to discerning consumers, is looking for an Audience Engagement Editor. As the leading authority on the best of what's new in food, drink, travel, design, and entertaining, Food & Wine engages and inspires audiences through its magazine, website, video, social media, and books.
This role will collaborate with a dynamic social and digital team to drive traffic to foodandwine.com and grow our community of over 12M followers. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years experience at a digital media brand and a proven track record for engaging users and increasing page views, referrals, and video views on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and more. They are a goal-oriented, creative multi-tasker who feels at home in a multidisciplinary print-digital hybrid environment.
Collaborate with Senior Audience Engagement editor, test kitchen, visual, print and digital teams to develop a comprehensive, ever-evolving editorial calendar for social platforms
Create and schedule daily content for the Food & Wine brand across social platforms
Grow and engage daily with our vibrant community of over 12M followers
Use analytics to inform engaging, traffic-driving posts
Collaborate with the digital and video teams to create shareable multimedia assets
Pitch social-forward content ideas and work with a team to execute them
3-5 years of social media experience in a fast-paced digital environment
Knowledge of how to optimize content on a broad range of social platforms
Experience using Parsely, SocialFlow, Google Analytics, and/or similar tools to inform strategic practices
A knack for identifying communities and slipping into the voice of a brand
A strong visual sensibility
Dynamic, positive and relentless on social media (please include handles when submitting your resume)
