Time Inc (UK) Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a part time Commissioning Style Editor to join the Living etc team. The successful person will have the opportunity to work on one of our most high profile brands and help to create exciting content!

 Key Responsibilities

  • Source and research relevant trends/looks for Living etc
  • Present Style Deco feature ideas relevant to the season at Planning meetings
  • Plan the potential cover image in conjunction with the Editor and Senior team
  • Source and commission stylist to produce the feature
  • Brief the stylist ensuring the stylist works up sketches and mood boards for each shot
  • Source, brief and commission photographer
  • Source and book locations
  • Attend shoots
  • Ensure cover image, copy and images are delivered to the deadline
  • Ensure budgets are adhered to

You should have: 

  • Excellent Team Player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to drive creative solutions to drive innovation and efficiencies
  • Good knowledge of print production process
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • An interest in and knowledge of Home magazines is desirable
