Time Inc (UK) Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Sub Editor to join the to join the Homes Network. The successful person will have the opportunity to work across a number of our high-profile brands that include 25 Beautiful Homes, Living etc, Style at Home and Ideal home to name a few! 

You will be:

  • Working closely with the Chief Sub Editors and team of Sub Editors to deliver subbed content across multiple brands
  • Rewriting copy, fact checking and subbing across all brands
  • Having a full understanding of the brand strategy and values as defined by Brand Editors and Chief Subs
  • Providing timely and quality services to the multiple brands for print platform
  • Proof reading and correcting as necessary
  • Liaising with associated departments/hubs to ensure continuous workflow
  • Ensuring layout is ready for Editor approval
  • Agree and own personal targets with the Head of the Subs Hub
  • Prioritise work in order to meet brand requirements

You should have:

  • Excellent subbing and writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good attention to details
  • Good knowledge of print production process
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • An interest in and knowledge of Home magazines is desirable
