Primary responsibilities:

 

  • Working with stakeholders to capture business requirements that will be used in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of BI solutions.
  • Developing technical requirements for handoff to other development teams within the organization.
  • Following best practices and organizational design standards to ensure that common, reusable solutions are developed.
  • Participating in the design of data acquisition, data modelling, data movement, metadata management, and QA testing.
  • Works with minimal supervision within defined goals.
  • Works within a collaborative, empowering team environment.

 

Required Skills: Essentials

  • Tableau Server and Desktop 10.x
  • SQL and relational databases (Teradata, Redshift, Snowflake, MS SQL Server)
  • Data analysis/data quality / data governance.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Agile methodology.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Required Skills: Good to have

  • Exposure to BI tools like Power BI, QlikView, Mode is a plus
  • Experience with Java and/or Python
  • Experience with HTML & JavaScript
  • Experience with ETL frameworks
