Software Engineer - II
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience developing and designing large-scale data warehouse databases. Additionally the candidate should have experience with ETL tools, ETL architecture for columnar databases, working with columnar database technologies, data modeling and architecture as well as Business Intelligence tools.
- Creating star schema data models, performing ETLs/ELT and validating results with business representatives
- Supporting implemented BI solutions by: monitoring and tuning queries (MPP database) and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues.
- Should have prior experience in systems development efforts (in python and MPP database), to understand the issues faced by the warehouse team.
- Improvise the ELT process with sql tuning techniques to bring down processing time.
