Editorial Director for the Sports division for FanSided Inc, providing support for members of the Operations and Editorial teams as needed. This is a key role for the detail-oriented, quick thinker interested in adjusting processes to a maximum efficiency across a publicly traded company. Lead the division by identifying its strengths and weakness and help plan content strategies
Demonstrate a broad knowledge and passion for Sports topics
Check in on each site routinely and offer suggestions, tips, and ideas to help them improve their content, SEO, Best Practices, etc
Maintain organizational documents relating to the division
Work with Recruiting team to bring in fresh voices, experts and contributors, to the division
Develop a collaborative sense of community throughout the division
Be creative in communicating with your division, on an individual basis and in the group setting
Encourage and help sites improve their social media skills and presence
Ability and comfort level to work a non-traditional schedule
