Food & Wine is looking for an Associate Restaurant Editor who can identify and report on the most relevant trends in the restaurant world and pitch compelling story ideas for print and digital platforms.
Report on the world of food, chefs, and restaurants, as well as identify important trends and taste makers.
Assist the Restaurant Editor with research, organization, and execution of Best New Chefs and Restaurants of the Year, Food & Wine’s signature awards; keep these projects on schedule and on budget.
Produce Obsessions, a front-of-book section dedicated to destinations, products, trends, restaurants, and chefs we’re obsessed with right now.
Research and report stories for print (features, front-of-book featurettes) and digital platforms (2-4 a week).
Represent Food & Wine at industry events and connect with chefs and PR representatives on behalf of the brand.
At least three years of editorial experience in print and digital publishing.
Exceptional researching, writing, and organizational skills—and an excellent grasp of the Food & Wine sensibility
