The Job: Senior Marketing Manager, Travel + Leisure
The Meredith Luxury Group, which includes the powerhouse brands Travel + Leisure and Food & Wine, is seeking a full-time Sr. Manager of Integrated Marketing. This position plays an integral role in driving ad sales revenue and is responsible for conceiving and communicating creative marketing solutions that leverage the full portfolio of our print, digital, and experiential assets.
Concept and write compelling proposals and presentations that bring an idea to life in a way that feels custom to each advertiser
Serve as the in-house travel expert, staying abreast of industry news and trends and what’s happening within the competitive set
Leverage the full breadth of assets within the Luxury Group and beyond to meet client objectives
Attend both client and agency meetings, including media days, briefs and pitches as needed
Build and maintain relationships with third-party organizations and vendors to enhance the marketing team’s arsenal of marketing programs and partnerships
Assist with special projects as needed, e.g., sell sheets, media kits, industry events, etc.
Proven: You have 5-7 years of marketing and sales/support experience within the travel category and have worked in media/advertising. Digital experience a plus.
A team player: A self-starter who is also extremely innovative, professional and resourceful. You have exceptional interpersonal skills and people trust you implicitly.
Thorough: You have strong management and project management skills from ideation to completion, with the ability to think both creatively and strategically along the way. You are highly organized and thoughtful in the way you approach your work.
Technically proficient: PowerPoint, Word and Excel are no strangers to you. You also have a deep knowledge of advertising sales, digital media and research. Mobile/app and social platforms are part of your everyday.
A communicator: You are known internally and externally for your excellent proposals and the ability to solve problems quickly and clearly.
