Extra Crispy has an opening on its editorial team for a Social Media Editor. This is an important, challenging job that’s a great opportunity for an internet-savvy, food-obsessed person.
The Social Media Editor manages and leads the growth of the brand’s social media presence. You should have a proven track record of helping brands grow their social presences and fan bases online. You’ll work with Extra Crispy’s editors to create content and determine the best way to present stories on our social platforms, and monitor emerging platforms. You’ll track reporting apps to see what stories are performing the best. You’ll write lots of snappy copy every day and look for stories for us to cover and create social-first content. You’ll work closely with outside partners, other social media teams at our parent company, and our editorial team. You have at least two years of professional social media experience and a fun writing voice that will entertain and engage our readers.
We’re looking for someone who’ll be serious and proactive about growing the brand’s social audience via partnerships and creating shareable content. Success will be measured by the growth of our followers and engagement.
