This position is responsible for assisting in charting the interactive technology architecture, standards, and directions. Guides the evolution of the system development process. Assist in guiding management and team leaders on the direction and use of technologies. Continues to remain "hands-on" by designing and implementing critical routines and programmed processes.
Essential Job Functions
Supports senior manager in maintaining an effective production environment.
Create and assist systems designs leading to development of new/improved products.
Participates in design meetings, code reviews, unit testing.
Analyze and evaluate existing/proposed application architecture; monitor corporate objectives and performance, provide detailed documentation for project use by engineers and departments.
Serve as technical consultant to other departments.
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in computer Science, Business Management or equivalent training and/or experience
Minimum 4 years’ experience with internet technology architectures, programs and analysis.
Experience in personnel and project management.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Java based technologies, UML, XML, relational databases.
Strong programming experience in object oriented methodologies and languages
Thorough knowledge of analytic and design techniques.
Competent to independently work on the most complex system programming and systems analysis projects.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time.
