About the team

The Time Inc UK Consumer Marketing team is an award winning team driving innovation in direct to consumer marketing. Subscriptions are an integral route to market for all magazines and generate significant revenues for the business. The team are responsible for multichannel acquisition and retention campaigns both above and below the line and are looking for talented, driven, can do marketers to take the business to the next level.

About the role

Responsible for the digital marketing acquisition strategy for the Time Inc UK portfolio, you will lead a team to manage our activity across email, PPC, display, social, affiliate and retargeting. You will:

  • Develop the digital marketing strategy into a week by week marketing plan
  • Drive the creative process for all campaigns
  • Lead the digital marketing team in the execution of the marketing plan, to achieve acquisition volume and revenue targets
  • Develop innovative testing plans, designed to maximise acquisitions and drive marketing efficiencies
  • Be the guardian of the digital marketing budget ensuring it is used to its full potential
  • Leverage data within digital analytics tools to identify and report out on performance and key trends, using the results to deliver improvements across all digital KPIs
  • Drive a culture of innovation and creativity across all digital channels
  • Drive digital marketing thought leadership within the business

About you

An experienced digital marketing professional with an understanding of all channels, you have deep knowledge of email marketing as well as:

  • Proven track record of managing digital marketing specialists
  • Subscriptions marketing/ recurring revenue model experience is essential
  • A proven track record of delivering against targets through digital marketing
  • A proven track record of identifying and overturning poor campaign performance
  • Knowledge and expertise to get hands on in any digital marketing channel if required
  • Strong analytics background with knowledge and experience of digital analytics/insight tools (we use Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge and experience of Google Ad Words, Bannerflow, Taxi and Salesforce all strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of CMS tools.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Good negotiation skills
