The Associate Manager, News & Business Brand Marketing will strategize around TIME, FORTUNE and MONEY brand goals and objectives as well as those of our marketing partners. This position plays an integral role in driving ad sales revenue and is responsible for conceiving and communicating creative marketing solutions that leverage the full portfolio of the news group’s print, digital, native, video and experiential assets.
Support brand sales team as well as liaise with editorial leaders
Participate in ‘big idea’ development, including generating insight-driven creative and strategic marketing programs for TIME, FORUNE and MONEY that will align with each advertiser’s objectives
Create necessary brand materials needed to support the sales process including RFP responses, franchise collateral, edit calendars, category-specific presentations, etc.
Be pro-active with franchise materials, incorporating research, insights and analysis of competitive landscape
Maintain a sharp focus on messaging and communications, not simply decks, sell sheets and e-blasts
Team members are expected to be engaged and be partners and strategists and treat their roles and responsibilities like they are a small business with each team member in charge of their business
Manage client fulfillments with relevant internal teams (edit, client solutions, execution)
Support the VP and Director, Brand Marketing in analyzing industry trends and marketing programs across competitive categories and properties
Assist with special projects as needed, e.g., brand sell sheets, media kit maintenance, etc.
Knowledge: You bring two to four years of marketing and sales/support experience, preferably in media/advertising. Digital/news/finance experience a plus.

Your sharp written and verbal communication skills provide you with the ability to present ideas both to internal teams and external clients. You are known for quick responses, your excellent sales materials, concise emails, and the ability to solve problems quickly and clearly.
Technical proficiency: PowerPoint, Word and Excel are no strangers to you. You also have a knowledge of advertising sales, digital media and research (@Plan, ComScore, Ipsos, etc.). Mobile/app and social platforms are part of your everyday.
A Love of News: You’re energized by journalism and ideally love news and current events.
